UPPSC PCS 2026 Official Notification Released for 500 Vacancies: Online applications for the Combined State / Upper Subordinate Services (PCS) Examination 2026 started on 26th June 2026 and the last date to fill online application is 27th July 2026. Recruitment will be done for 500 vacancies initially, but the total number of posts is expected to increase. Any new requisitions received by Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) until the declaration of Prelims results will be included. The golden rule for UP PCS success is simple: He who masters the history, polity, economy, and geography of Uttar Pradesh, masters the merit list.
In Prelims, there is a negative marking penalty of 1/3rd of the marks assigned to that question for every incorrect answer (i.e., -0.44 marks in Paper I and -0.66 marks in Paper II). Please note that Paper II (CSAT) is qualifying in nature, requiring a minimum of 33% marks. प्रारंभिक परीक्षा में प्रत्येक गलत उत्तर के लिए उस प्रश्न के निर्धारित अंक का एक-तिहाई (1/3) नेगेटिव मार्किंग के रूप में काटा जाता है (अर्थात पेपर-I में -0.44 अंक और पेपर-II में -0.66 अंक)। ध्यान दें कि पेपर-II (CSAT) केवल क्वालिफाइंग प्रकृति का है, जिसमें न्यूनतम 33% अंक लाना अनिवार्य है।
