1. Border Roads Organisation (BRO)
The BRO holds the lion’s share of the total recruitment with 959 vacancies. Please note that these posts are reserved exclusively for male candidates.
- Civil Engineering: 796 posts
- Electrical & Mechanical Engineering: 163 posts
2. Military Engineer Services (MES)
MES stands as the second-largest recruiting department in this cycle with 338 vacancies.
- Civil Engineering: 202 posts
- Electrical & Mechanical Engineering: 136 posts
3. Central Public Works Department (CPWD)
CPWD remains one of the most sought-after departments among aspirants, offering 304 vacancies.
- Civil Engineering: 210 posts
- Electrical Engineering: 94 posts
4. Central Water Commission (CWC)
The CWC has released a total of 100 vacancies for engineering graduates.
- Civil Engineering: 90 posts
- Mechanical Engineering: 10 posts
5. Other Participating Departments
- Farakka Barrage Project: 11 posts (Civil) and 4 posts (Mechanical)
- DGQA-Naval (Ministry of Defence): 3 posts (Electrical) and 5 posts (Mechanical)

- Unreserved (UR): 780 posts
- Other Backward Classes (OBC): 432 posts
- Scheduled Caste (SC): 270 posts
- Scheduled Tribe (ST): 122 posts
- Economically Weaker Sections (EWS): 127 posts
