Dhai Din Ka Jhopra is a mosque located in Ajmer, Rajasthan.
It was a Sanskrit school built by the first Chauhan ruler Vigraharaja- 4 (Bisaldev), which stood for (Sanskrit Pathshala). Qutub-ud-din Aibak, the governor of Muhammad Ghori, demolished it in 1194 and named the mosque as Adhai din – ka – Jhopra.
There is a marble inscription on the left side of the main gate of Dhai Din-Ka-Jhopra, on which this university is mentioned in Sanskrit. Ornate pillars are used here in the Indian style, on which the roof is built. There are circular and flute shaped minarets in each corner of the mosque. In the 90s, in the courtyard of this mosque, ancient idols of many deities were scattered here and there, which were later placed in a safe place.
