Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet one of the following two pathways plus additional mandatory requirements:
- Option A: Master’s degree (55% marks) in a B.Ed. subject (Science, Math, Social Science, Commerce, or Language) AND M.Ed. (55% marks).
- Option B: Master’s degree in Education (M.A. Education) with 55% AND B.Ed. degree with 55%.
- Mandatory Requirement: Must have qualified NET/SLET/SET or hold an eligible Ph.D. (as per UGC norms).
- Age Limit: Maximum 62 years (as of 31 August 2022)
Selection Process & Exam Pattern
Selection is based on a Total of 230 Marks:
- Written Exam (200 Marks):
- 100 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs): 30 General Knowledge + 70 Subject-specific.
- No Negative Marking.
- Interview (30 Marks): Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview based on written exam scores.
